Born in Jerusalem in 1992, Uriah began his cello studies at the age of 10 with Mrs. Sabina Frankenberg in the "Hasadna" Conservatory in Jerusalem and continued with Prof. Shmuel Magen at the High school of the Jerusalem academy of music and dance. He began his Bachelor studies in The Buchmann-Mehta school of Music in Tel Aviv in the Class of Prof. Hillel Zori and then went on to complete them at the University for Music in Karlsruhe in the class of Prof. Martin Ostertag. In Karlsruhe Uriah furthermore completed his Master’s degree with honors.

Nowadays Uriah is studying Chamber music master at the HfMDK Frankfurt in the cass of Prof. Angelika Merkle and beginning from the autumn of 2022 he will also study with Günter Pichler at the International Institute of Chamber Music at the Reina Sofía School in Madrid as a member of Trio Delyria.

Uriah has won prizes including the first prize at the Buchmann-Mehta School of music Concerto competition, First Prize at the Karl-Adler competition Stuttgart and third prize at the Lions Israel Cello competition. He performed as soloist with orchestras such as the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, the Buchmann-Mehta school of music symphony orchestra, Jerusalem academy symphony orchestra.

As a student in the David Goldman program for outstanding young musicians of the Jerusalem Music Center Uriah has performed in chamber music broadcasts, led the Young Israel Philharmonic orchestra and played in Chamber music concert tours throughout England and Canada. He received masterclasses from renowned musicians such as Ralph Kirshbaum, Frans Helmerson, Alisa Weilerstein, Emerson Quartet and has participated and performed in courses and festivals in Israel, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and the USA including Kfar Blum, Keshet Eilon, Musethica Festival and more. He has played chamber music with musicians such as Amihai Grosz, Florin Iliescu, Stephan Picard and members of the Jerusalem Quartet and appeared in the Radio in Israel, Germany and Canada. He played concerts and recitals in all the important venues in Israel as well as in Sala São Paulo, Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, KKL Luzern, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Alte Oper Frankfurt and more.
